Dr. Lexi Muniz Brandenburg
Veterinarian and Owner
Dr. Lexi Muniz Brandenburg is excited to be the new owner of The Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing. She is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, and also completed her undergraduate work at UF while competing on the Track and Field team. Dr. Brandenburg is proud to be a Gator; her roots run deep in Gainesville. Her grandfather was a psychiatry professor at UF and the Chief of Psychiatry at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, and her dad is a graduate of the College of Engineering. Although she enjoyed working in Keystone Heights since graduating, Dr. Brandenburg is fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning her own veterinary clinic in Gainesville. She looks forward to serving her community through excellent care and down to earth, communication, while treating clients and their pets with compassion. Dr. Brandenburg resides in the vicinity of the Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing with her husband, Bud, and their two dogs. She has shown horses since a very young age and continues to do so with her horse, Pete. When she's not preparing for a horse show, Dr. Brandenburg spends her free time playing kickball and soccer, biking, jogging, and going to Gator football games. She and Bud also love to travel and to experience diverse local cuisine. Dr. Brandenburg looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Maudrey Tenly
Manager
Maudrey is a Florida native who has grown up with a love for all animals. Having been raised on a small farm, she has years of experience with livestock and companion animals. Maudrey's work experience in Veterinary Medicine includes everything from being a receptionist to her employment as a technician. After working with Dr. Brandenburg for the past 4 years, we are excited to have her in her new role as Clinic Manager at The Veterinary Center. When Maudrey is not loving and caring for other people's animals, you can find her spending time with her daughter, her family, and her own pets.

I am a student who would like to eventually attend veterinary school. I was born and raised in Miami & Hollywood, Florida. I've been a veterinary technician since 2015 and when I'm not living the dream you can find me at the beach! I have 3 dogs 2 cats and a rabbit.

I'm currently a student at Santa Fe college studying animal science. My long-term goal is to transfer to the University of Florida to attend vet school. I have a 8 year old maltipoo and a 1 year old cat, so when I'm not in the office you can find me walking my dog at the nearest park or playing 18 holes at turkey creek.

I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida, obtaining my Bachelors in Animal Science. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Veterinary Shelter Medicine at UF, with my goal being Veterinary School in the future. I am a South Florida native and in my free time, I love hanging out with my sweet husky boy, Blu. I enjoy traveling as much as I can. My favorite place that I've been to is The Dominican Republic, but my dream is to go to Rome one day! I can't wait to see you and take care of your furry companions!

I am from South Florida. I am finishing my Bachelor's in Animal Sciences at the University of Florida and plan on attending veterinary school next year. I have three cats and a dog and have worked in the veterinary medicine field since 2017. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking and occasionally take my dog with me!

I am an on-again off-again student whose interests include cooking, drawing, and of course, pet care! My passion for animals came at a young age, as we had numerous family cats, we cared for growing up. I had the pleasure of pet sitting in my teenage years, which only strengthened my feelings for the field. Currently I have two cats, two dogs, and two mice of my own! This makes it easy to understand all the different questions and worries clients have on a day-to-day basis, as I've had the exact same worries for my own fur babies!
